These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you”, “user”) and OrionHQ (“we”, “us”), publisher of the Ragnarr iOS application (the “App”). By downloading, installing or using Ragnarr, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install the App.

1. Acceptance

By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, that you have read and accepted these Terms, and that you have the authority to enter into this agreement. If you are using Ragnarr on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.

2. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, OrionHQ grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and use the App on any iOS device tied to your Apple ID, solely for personal, non-commercial use. This license covers Apple Family Sharing within the limits defined by Apple (up to six members of your iCloud Family). The Apple App Store Standard EULA also applies and supersedes these Terms where conflicting.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.

3. Pricing and purchases

Ragnarr is available on the App Store under three plans of your choice: a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time “Lifetime” purchase. Exact prices are those listed on your region's App Store page.

Monthly and annual subscriptions auto-renew: your Apple account is charged at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

The one-time Lifetime purchase is a non-recurring payment that grants you access to all Ragnarr updates, for life (see section 4). No further charge will be made.

All payments and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple. To request a refund: reportaproblem.apple.com. In the European Union, the 14-day right of withdrawal is exercised through Apple. OrionHQ does not directly receive payments and therefore cannot issue direct refunds.

4. Updates and pricing changes

As long as you have an active plan (current subscription or Lifetime), you receive all Ragnarr updates at no additional cost.

Pricing (monthly, annual and Lifetime) may change over time depending on new features, the scope of the App and the iOS ecosystem. Price increases apply only to new purchases: existing Lifetime owners keep their license as purchased, and existing subscribers keep their rate on their ongoing renewals.

If Apple or OrionHQ adjusts a subscription price, Apple will notify you according to its own policy before the new rate takes effect. You can then accept or cancel.

If your subscription ends (cancellation, payment failure, etc.), your access to paid features ends at the end of the current period. Lifetime owners retain their access without time limit.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • connect to services or content that you do not own or are not authorized to access;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any third party;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, harm or probe any server, network or service;
  • violate any applicable law, regulation or order in your jurisdiction.

6. Third-party services

Ragnarr is a client. It connects to self-hosted services that you deploy and operate (e.g. Sonarr, Radarr, qBittorrent, SABnzbd, Prowlarr, Bazarr, Seerr, Tautulli, Portainer, Unraid, Jellyfin, Emby). OrionHQ does not provide, host, control or moderate those services or their content.

You are solely responsible for the legality, configuration, security and content of any service you connect to Ragnarr. References to third-party software within the App are for interoperability only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Media artwork, posters and metadata are provided by TMDb and remain the property of their respective rights holders. Ragnarr uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its source code, interfaces, text, graphic resources and trademarks are the exclusive property of OrionHQ or its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other applicable laws. No provision of these Terms transfers any ownership right in the App to you.

Names and logos of third-party products mentioned in the App or in its marketing materials (Sonarr, Radarr, qBittorrent, Jellyfin, etc.) belong to their respective owners and are referenced for descriptive interoperability purposes only.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without contractual warranties of any kind, express, implied or statutory, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted operation. OrionHQ does not warrant that the App will be error-free or compatible with any specific configuration of your homelab.

This clause applies without prejudice to the statutory warranties you benefit from as a consumer, in particular the legal warranty of conformity (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OrionHQ shall not be liable for indirect damages (loss of data, profits, revenue or reputation, for example). Our total liability for any claim related to the App is capped at the amount you paid for the App.

This limitation does not apply in cases of willful misconduct, gross negligence, or where the law prohibits any limitation of liability.

10. Termination and refunds

You may uninstall the App at any time. OrionHQ may terminate your license in case of serious breach of these Terms; such termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund.

All refunds are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. In the European Union, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies under the same conditions. OrionHQ does not collect payments and therefore cannot issue a direct refund.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, when significant, by an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. As a consumer, you of course retain all rights you are entitled to in your country of residence.

For any question, comment or disagreement, the simplest is to email us directly — we always favor an amicable resolution by email before any other action.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
